Ark Custom Pool & Spa International began when Greg Solmundson founded the business in 1995. Greg began his journey when graduating with honors in 1990 from Industrial welding school. Immediately after graduating Greg became involved assisting a local pool company assembling commercial pools. During his time building commercial pools Greg became multi-faceted in the construction of commercial swimming pools & spas. Eager to enhance his skills he set his sights on European pool technology and Joined forces with a German based company, DLW delifol® educating himself in the art of swimming pool surfacing and eventually becoming delifol®’s head technician worldwide. Under the direction of DLW delifol® Greg “Ark” trained several pool contractors throughout 38 countries and was involved in hundreds of high profile pool & spa installations. Ark Custom Pool & Spa developed many strong relationships over the years resulting in over 20 years of steady growth and stability.
Settled in the West Kelowna Greg operates the company amongst his talented staff and sub trades and continues to grow Ark custom Pool & Spa throughout Western Canada. “Ark’s” innovative and creative mindset drives the company to be the best in the industry. Ark Custom Pool & Spa International – provides design/build services for Western Canadians with many of our showpiece installations located throughout the Okanagan Valley, Calgary and Winnipeg. Our Pool and Spa components are manufactured in North Carolina, Indiana and Germany with our main warehouse and office located in West Kelowna, British Columbia.

Pool Renovation Division – focuses on restoring aged pools in need of repair. Revitalizing existing swimming pools is quite common in Canada given our extreme climatic conditions. DLW delifol® manufacturer’s extremely durable PVC membranes used to surface heavily used residential and commercial swimming pools. Easily installed over any existing pool surface our trained professionals lay and tailor fit the delifol® material forming a one piece waterproof membrane. Ark Custom Pool & Spa is the exclusive Canadian distributor for DLW delifol® linings and is readily available to service your pool renovation needs.
Delifol® Division – is the leading provider for PVC-P swimming pool membranes in the country. Ark Custom Pool & Spa is the exclusive delifol® distributor for DLW delifol® in Canada with our head distribution centre located in the West Kelowna, British Columbia. Ark Custom Pool & Spa not only sells this premium product to some of the most reputable pool contractors in Canada, we also provide onsite technical training and perform installations on behalf of our existing clients.
